It’s More Fun in the Philippines

Teodul will be moving soon for a destination with more than 7,100 islands – of which only 2,000 are inhabited!

What’s it like the Philippines in nutshell?
The Philippines is famous for lots of islands, beautiful beaches and hospitable and warm people. The Philippines is one of the world’s largest archipelago nations. It is situated in Southeast Asia in the Western Pacific Ocean. Its islands are classified into three main geographical areas – Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Because of its archipelagic nature, Philippines is a culturally diverse country. With its topography consisting of mountainous terrains, dense forests, plains, and coastal areas, the Philippines is rich in biodiversity. It is considered as one of the mega biodiversity countries in the world with a high percentage of flora and fauna endemism. Despite having widespread poverty, the Philippines has fared relatively well in Human Development Index, particularly in comparison to other Southeast Asian nations. In 2018, Philippines’ is one of the leading countries in Asia’s economic growth with 6.8 percent growth rate.

In fact, I know practically nothing about Philippines – I hardly knew to mark the archipelago on the map – before for professional reasons teodul family deciding to move to Manila. It must be said that ordinary when one hears about this country, this is almost always about high risk from cyclones, earthquakes, floods, landslides, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and wildfires. I begun reading the underside of the Philippines postcard, finally I quickly stopped. That does not help us to anticipate positively this expatriation that we had previously given our consent. We shall see. And it will undoubtedly be great because as the new signature Philippine tourism campaign goes – “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”.

My bicycle does not move to Manila, it is for sale. Do not hesitate!
